Today, under the stewardship of Shajan Varghese, Varkey’s son, we continue to nurture this exceptional legacy. Grown organically on our family-owned farm, Punnathanam Nutmeg stands out for its extra-large size, rich flavor, and unmatched quality. Each fruit, measuring 4.5 cm long and 3 cm wide, is a testament to decades of dedication, delivering a high yield and a distinctive dark red mace that fully envelops the seed. Our trees thrive with minimal maintenance, offering pest tolerance and a remarkable output of up to 3,000 fruits per tree annually.
